Hawaiian Electric reports additional power outages on Oahu in the Salt Lake/Aliamanu area, Hauula and Waikane.
Crews are also working to repair downed power lines in the Kaupakalua Rd., Haiku area and Upcountry/Olinda area on Maui.
Hawaiian Electric reports power has been restored to customers in Waimea/Kohala, Waiakea Uka, Paradise Park and Pahoa to Kapoho on Hawaii Island.
Kauai Island Utility said a power outage is affecting customers in Lihue.
The County of Kauai Department of Parks and Recreation also reports downed and loose debris from trees in county parks and advises the public to avoid parks with large trees because of safety concerns.

Hawaiian Electric is responding to power outages in Honolulu, Makaha, Waikiki, Kunia, Kaaawa, Kahuku, Kaneohe, Kailua, Kalihi, Waipahu, Waialua and Wahiawa on Oahu. There are also reports of power outages at Schofield Barracks and Wheeler Army Airfield due to a downed pole.
As of late Wednesday morning, over 2,500 outages were reported in certain areas of Oahu, according to HECO.
On Hawaii Island, customers are without power in the Waimea/Kohala area. Because of the power outage, the Department of Education has announced Kohala Elementary, Kohala Middle and Kohala High School will be closed Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service, a Wind Advisory is in effect for all islands as of 12:45 p.m., as well as a Small Craft Advisory affecting the entire island chain. A High Wind Warning is in effect for the summit areas of Haleakala on Maui and Maunaloa and Maunakea on Hawaii Island. Details here.
A cold front is moving eastward across the central islands, bringing showers and windy conditions to the state. Winds are expected to ease off as drier and cooler conditions descend on the islands from Thursday into the weekend.
