A new pilot program at Waiehu Municipal Golf Course will allow golfers to easily see available tee times and make online reservations starting March 15, according to a Maui County release.

Online reservations begin at 7:30 a.m. on weekdays and 6:30 a.m. on weekends and holidays, and can be made no earlier than 48 hours before the date of play.

A credit card deposit is required, but credit card information will not be not stored in the system. In order to avoid a credit card charge if canceling, cancel at least 12 hours before the reserved tee time.

Golfers can continue to reserve tee times by calling the Starters Booth at 808-270-7400 from 7 a.m. on weekdays and 6 a.m. on weekends and holidays, or by showing up in person, as long as it’s no sooner than 48 hours before the date of play.

Maui County’s Department of Parks and Recreation staff will be onsite during the week of March 6 to help golfers set up accounts for online registration. To set up an account, view a tutorial and for more information, visit the Waiehu Municipal Golf Course website.

Maui County DPR will evaluate the pilot program after 60 days.
