HONOLULU — Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi and select city officials will be touring the island for a series of 11 town hall meetings between March and May.
The Mayor’s office said the meetings will be an opportunity for Blangiardi and representatives from more than 25 city and county departments to meet directly with constituents, listen to concerns, answer questions about top priorities and provide briefings about upcoming projects in individual neighborhoods.
“This is an invaluable opportunity to get our team into our neighborhoods and find out what’s important to our residents,” Blangiardi said. “We are going to listen to concerns and suggestions and provide the best answers we can.”
Each meeting will include open question-and-answer sessions with the mayor and city department directors and deputy directors. The public is encouraged to participate and to make suggestions on how the administration can better serve the people of Oahu.
