A 32-year-old woman died while crossing the Likelike Highway near the Burmesiter overpass after being hit by a car on Tuesday around 6 a.m., according to a Honolulu Police Department source.
The pedestrian was not using a crosswalk, when she was hit by a car being driven by a 28-year-old woman. The woman was driving with children in the car. None of them were harmed.
Emergency Medical Services pronounced the pedestrian dead on the scene, according to the HPD source.
The Honolulu Police Department said there is no foul play suspected at this time.
