The University of Hawaii Board of Regents approved its tuition schedule through the spring 2027 semester, according to a release.
The Board of Regents voted in favor of freezing the tuition at all campuses for the next two academic years, but then the resident tuition rates will increase at UH Hilo, UH Mānoa and UH West Oahu by 2% for two academic years. For non-residents, their tuition will increase by the equivalent dollar amount.
All community college and graduate school tuition will be frozen for the next four years, except for the UH Mānoa William S. Richardson School of Law. The law school will experience a tuition increase of 2% for three years beginning in the 2024-25 academic year.
The Board of Regents approved the school’s last tuition increase in 2016.
At UH Mānoa, the full-time resident undergraduate tuition is $5,652 per semester. At UH Hilo and UH West Oahu, the full-time resident undergraduate tuition is $3,836 per semester. At the seven UH community colleges, tuition is $1,572 per semester.
