D.T. Fleming Beach Park in West Maui will undergo improvements and repair work starting Monday, Nov. 28. Work will begin with the rebuilding of an ADA-compliant accessible sidewalk from the parking lot to the existing comfort station.

The project also includes the removal and replacement of existing asphalt concrete pavement and base of the existing ocean-side parking lot and new parking lot striping. The existing lot will not be expanded.

During construction, beach park facilities will remain open, although the public is asked to stay outside of ongoing construction areas.

The public can contact Parks CIP Coordinator April Shiotani at april.shiotani@co.maui.hi.us or 808-270-8017 for more information.
