Everyone registered to vote in Hawaii should have received a ballot in their mailbox by Oct. 21.

All ballots come with an envelope that does not require postage.

But if you mail in your ballot now, it won't be received in time to be counted on Election Day.

However, ballots can still be placed in drop-off boxes, which opened on Oct. 18 and will remain available until 7 p.m. on Nov. 8.

Voters may also take their ballots to voter service centers. At voter service centers, Hawaii residents older than 18 can drop off their ballots, vote in person and register to vote. Most days, they are open until 4:30 p.m., and on Election Day, they will remain open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a few exceptions.

County elections divisions must receive ballots by 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 to be counted.

Locations and hours for ballot drop-off boxes and voter service centers in every county can be found here.
