HONOLULU — Queen’s Health System announced Thursday a change in locations for its vaccination event on Sept. 25.
It will now provide flu shots and COVID-19 vaccinations for the community at two locations on The Queen’s Medical Center’s Punchbowl campus.
No appointment is needed and doses will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Hours are 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Individuals who wish to receive only a flu shot can enter the Physicians Office Building (POB) 3 driveway via Lauhala Street and stay in remain in the vehicle for the vaccination.
Individuals who wish to receive a flu shot and a COVID-19 vaccination, or just a COVID-19 vaccination, will need to go to the Queen’s Conference Center on the corner of Punchbowl and South Beretania streets. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine bivalent booster, recently approved by the FDA and CDC, will be available. The Pfizer monovalent vaccine will also be available for the first and second doses.
Flu shots are recommended for those 65 years and older. Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations will only be administered to individuals 5 years of age and older.
Free parking will be available in the Physicians Office Building 3 parking structure and other Queen’s parking garages. ADA accommodations will be available in the Arthur A. Ushijima parking lot (entrance is off of Punchbowl St.).
Insurance is not required, but bring your ID, insurance card and vaccination card.
