Hawaii has reported four new deaths from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the statewide total to 1,082, according to the Hawaii Department of Health.
The state also reported an additional 1,591 cases, putting Hawaii’s case count total at 100,184.
Most of the cases were on Oahu, with 1,310. There were 131 cases on Maui, 77 on Hawaii Island, 40 on Kauai, eight on Molokai and two on Lanai.
Twenty-three of the cases came from out-of-state visitors.
The statewide vaccination rate stands at 73.9% residents fully vaccinated. Honolulu County reports the highest vaccination rate among its residents at 77%. Kauai County has a rate of 71%, while Hawaii County and Maui County are at 66%.
The DOH reports that 336,876 boosters have been administered. An estimated 371,653 individuals have not been vaccinated.
