The Hong Kong-inspired and New York-based dessert shop, MangoMango Dessert, opened its second location at Ala Moana Center in late March.
It takes the place previously occupied by Pierre Marcolini on the second level next to Island Brew Coffeehouse in the Bloomingdale’s wing.
The new location offers two items available only at Ala Moana Center — Mango Sticky Rice and Man-Coco Sticky made with Thai sweet rice steamed with Pandan leaves, vanilla ice cream, coconut milk and roasted coconut chips.
“With summer just around the corner, we are excited for the opportunity to serve our fresh fruit treats to even more Oahu diners,” said Tina Wang in a news release. Wang is the Hawaii-exclusive franchise owner of MangoMango Dessert. “We have received such positive feedback from the West Oahu community on our Pearlridge store and are excited to provide a new option for our East Oahu and Honolulu diners.”
Since the December 2021 opening of MangoMango at Pearlridge Center, the dessert shop has become a favorite with residents and visitors alike. The new location will feature the classics, as well as Hawaii-exclusives such as the Cheese Foam Blush Peachy Tea, Roman Shield and Cocoa Flake Cookies.
The full menu is available for takeout or dine in. Delivery is also available through Uber Eats and Bite Squad.
Hours for MangoMango Dessert’s Ala Moana Center shop are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday. You can learn more at their website and follow them on Instagram and Facebook.
