The Hawaii Department of Health announced that its vital records office would reopen to the public on April 4 to process birth, marriage, divorce and death certificates.

Office hours are 7:45 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Kupuna hours are 7:45 a.m.-11 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Kupuna hours are for those 60 years and older and anyone with special needs. The office will be closed on holidays.

Individuals who require services are encouraged to schedule an appointment online. Walk-in services will be available as time permits, but preference will be given to those with appointments.
