HONOLULU — The Queen’s Health Systems continues to expand COVID-19 vaccination accessibility to the public with two new locations set to open Feb. 25 and 28, announced Queen’s on Thursday.
The newly opened clinics will be at the Queen’s Physicians Office Building 2 on Lusitana Street (opens Feb. 25) and at Queen’s Island Urgent Care Kahala on Hunakai Street (opens Feb. 28). The Queen’s Medical Center-West Oahu and Queen’s Physicians Office Building Pharmacies clinics will continue to provide COVID-19 vaccinations, as will the mobile vaccination clinics rotating among various communities.
The two new locations will offer the Pfizer vaccine for ages 5 and older, and the Moderna vaccine for anyone 18 and older. Walk-ins will be accepted, but the public can also make an appointment at any Queen’s vaccine clinics at their website or by calling 808-691-2222. Hours: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
As of Feb. 27, Queen’s will end its COVID-19 vaccination operation at the Neal Blaisdell Center.
“Since opening the Blaisdell clinic in late January 2021, our team at that site has administered more than 200,000 vaccine doses to the people of Hawaii. That number includes more than 43,000 shots for kupuna age 75 and older,” said Jason Chang, executive vice president and chief operating officer of The Queen’s Health Systems. “We thank all of our hard-working caregivers who have shown such dedication during this monumental effort to protect our community against COVID.”
