For those worried about meal costs during summer break, the County of Maui announced its Summer PALS program will be providing free meals at sites on Maui and Molokai to ensure parents in need will be at ease.

This service is available to youth 18 years old or younger on weekdays in eligible areas. The meals are on given out on a first-come, first-serve basis; they meet federal standards for nutrition.
