SAN ANTONIO — A second person has been arrested in connection to a Thanksgiving shooting that killed a 10-year-old girl.

  • 19-year-old Jasmine Cary arrested in connection to Thanksgiving shooting
  • Victim of shooting was 10-year-old Delilah Hernandez
  • Cody Gann arrested in December on a murder charge in connection to Delilah's death.

According to San Antonio police, on June 1, the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force and the SAPD Street Crimes Unit, arrested 19-year-old Jasmine Cary. She was arrested without incident on the city’s North Side.

The victim, Delilah Hernandez, was sleeping in her grandmother’s bedroom when a bullet struck her in the chest. She was a 4th grader at West Avenue Elementary.

In December, 18-year-old Cody Gann was arrested on a murder charge in connection to Delilah's death.
