Bills quarterback Josh Allen made it to Oak Hill Country Club on Tuesday for the PGA Championship.

“It looks so different when you put in all these grandstands and tents up,” Allen said. “It’s kind of almost unrecognizable.”

Allen will be at Oak Hill watching this weekend, though it’s not clear how much he’ll be able to truly move around through the crowds.

Wherever he’s watching, the Bills quarterback has his favorites, including Pebble Beach Pro-Am partner Keith Mitchell.

“I think he’s an honorary Bills Mafia member,” Allen said. “I think there’s a few guys on the course. I think Rory [McIlroy]’s up there as well. It’d be nice to see those two guys playing well.”

Then once the PGA is over with, Allen gets to take on Oak Hill himself Monday at its Major Championship level, with expectations tempered.

“Talking to the guys, they’re saying the course is playing really tough,” he said. “If there’s going to be some pros not playing very well, I don’t know if it bodes well for me. I think 86-87, if I’m around that range I think it’d be a good round.”

If not, there’s always football.
