Brooke Barbuto played professioal women's soccer in Iceland and Finland over the last seven years and then decided to come home again.

Barbuto played for the Ravens, coached by Doug Miller, so when she made the decision to come home to Syracuse, she gave Miller a call and asked if she could play with the Lancers this summer.

It's worked out well. Barbuto's parents have gotten to see her play for the first time since college soccer at Stony Brook and she leads the team in scoring with seven goals this season, while serving as an assistant coach to Sal Galvano.

The Lady Lancers host the Lancaster Inferno on Saturday at 2:00 in their final home game. The visitors are tied with the Western New York Flash for the lead in the East Division, with the Lancers one point back.

The Inferno are at the Flash Sunday and then the Lancers finish up the regular season next Saturday at the Flash. The top to advance to the playoffs.
