Cristina Domingues can be seen weekdays anchoring and reporting on TWC News.
She joined us as a general assignment reporter in November 2000. This move followed several years in television production including the New York bureau of TV-Globo Brazil.
Cristina holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She completed her undergraduate study at Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
Cristina’s job opportunities and studies have taken her to places around the world and around the country. She’s lived in Sao Paulo, New York, Miami, Washington, D.C. and Chicago.
“I have lived around the world, but love calling Rochester home,” said Cristina. “I find that this is a great news town with an incredible quality of life. And while I never intended to stay so long, I plan to be here for a long time to come.”
Cristina is fluent in Portuguese and enjoys traveling to Brazil often to visit her family.
Cristina, her husband Frank, and daughters Catarina and Bianca live on the west side of Monroe County.
