Pittsford's Morgan Schild finished third in the women's moguls in Deer Valley, Utah to earn a spot on the U.S. Winter Olympic team.

Schild needed to finish on the podium either Thursday night or next week to clinch her spot alongside Jaelyn Kauf, who won the event Thursday night.

Schild was the defending champion at Deer Valley after rebounding from serious knee injuries just a year before.
