SPENCERPORT, N.Y. — There’s a new place to power up your electric vehicle in Spencerport. Four EV Fast Chargers are now open on West Avenue in the village.

What You Need To Know

  • The fee for NYPA chargers is only $0.45/kWh + tax

  • Spencerport has four fast-charging stations at 27 West Ave. next to the Village office

  • By the end of 2025, NYPA will have up to 400 fast chargers installed or in construction through its EVolve NY program

The New York Power Authority says charging only takes about 20 minutes and costs $0.45 per kilowatt. 

"Any time anybody comes to our village, whether they are traveling or just commuting to the village or even commuters from our village they are going to have this opportunity to use this charging station, which will truly be a good thing for anybody who has an EV vehicle," said Spencerport Mayor Gary Penders. 

The Spencerport EV charging site is one of 182 EVolve NY fast charging stations around the state. Some other Rochester-area stations are located in Churchville, Fairport and Victor.
