Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass has been named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after kicking the game-winning field goal against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. This marks his first Player of the Week award (he has won 3 previous Player of the Month awards).

Although he did miss an extra point, Bass went 3-3 on field goal attempts (40, 49 & 61), including the game winner. 

The 61-yard field goal set a new team record for longest field goal, surpassing Steve Christie's previous record of 59 yards in September 1993 against the Dolphins.

Bass also became just the became the ninth kicker all-time with a game-winning field goal of 60-or-more yards in the final two minutes of regulation or in overtime.

The AFC East-leading Bills (7-2) will travel to Indianapolis to play the Colts (4-5) on Sunday.
