Buffalo Bills running back James Cook has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring three touchdowns in the team's 31-10 win over the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night Football in week 2.

In addition to two rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown, Cook totaled 78 total rushing yards and 95 overall yards from scrimmage. He tied the team record for total touchdowns in a first half and became just the fifth Bills player ever with a receiving TD and 2 rushing TDs in a single game. He is the first to accomplish that feat since Thurman Thomas did it in 1992.

This marks the second time that Cook has received the honors. He also won it in week 15 of the 2023 season.

The Bills will host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football on Sept. 23.
