For the second time in three months, a fire caused serious damage at a Greece apartment complex.
The two alarm fire started around midnight at Cedar Commons Apartments on Calm Lake Circle.
Firefighters say heavy flames damaged the top two apartments in one of the buildings there.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters say they're all too familiar with this area, as it was the scene of another major fire back in May.
"Having two fires within three months is highly unusual. The staff here works very, very closely with the fire department, along with the fire marshals office, to make sure these apartments are kept safe at all times...and it's just one of those things that happen," said Randy Jensen, Monroe County Fire Bureau.
Firefighters were also able to rescue a dog from one of the apartments.
Red Cross is helping eight people with housing.
The cause is under investigation.
