ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- A California resident was injured in a shooting on Rochester's east side early Saturday.

Rochester police were called to a parking lot on Norwood Ave. around 2 a.m. where they found a Los Angeles resident with a gunshot wound to his lower body.

The 42-year-old was taken to the hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.

Police say the victim and suspect appeared to have been inside a bar on Anderson Street before the incident.

Officers are working to determine what led up to the shooting. 

No arrests have been made.
