ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- A third teen has been indicted in connection with the shooting of Rochester Police Officer Jeremy Nash.
Anthony Frasier, 17, pleaded not guilty in court Wednesday to 2nd degree criminal possession of a weapon charge.
Officer Nash was driving his patrol car with the windows down on North Street last summer when he was shot in the face.
Investigators say Nash was an unintended target.
Two other indictments unsealed in relation to the shooting included charges against 16-year-old Tykyal Glover and 17-year-old Kamiu Blake.
According to the prosecution, Glover had two shotguns and fired them at Kamiu Blake following a dispute. They say bullets from Glover’s gun unintentionally struck Nash in the process.
Glover is facing 2 counts of assault and four counts of criminal weapons charges.
Kamiu Blake has been charged with reckless endangerment, attempted assault, and illegal possession of a firearm. All three defendants are due back in court at the end of April.
Officer Nash has since recovered from the shooting and returned to work.
