HENRIETTA, N.Y. -- There will be no more uncertainty surrounding the future of the Dome Center in Henrietta.
Town Supervisor Jack Moore says that's because the facility has a new owner. Moore says the building and grounds of the former Monroe County Fair were purchased by local builder Michael Spoleta and developer Robert Morgan.
The new owners say they plan to make major renovations to the facility and build apartments on part of the grounds.
The future of the East Henrietta and Calkin Road property has remained in limbo over the past few years and several deals to purchase the property have fallen through.
The new owners have yet to announce when work may get underway.
