The fourth and final defendant charged in the suffocation death of a Wayne County mother has pleaded guilty.

The Wayne County District Attorney's Office says 19-year-old Knowledge Couser pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in connection to the February 2017 death of 52-year-old Julie Martin in the Town of Ontario.

Couser, 22-year-old Jasmine Harlee, 19-year-old Malquan Drayton, and 18-year-old Davontae Devine have all admitted to their role in the case. Prosecutors say the four conspired to kill and then collect Martin's life insurance policy.

Investigators also say they admitted to stealing Martin's bank card to withdraw $600. Both Couser and Devine face 20 years in state prison when they are sentenced in September.
