GREECE, N.Y. — Greece police have one person in custody and they're searching for another in connection with the attempted robbery of a uniformed police officer.
Christopher Morse III, 16, is charged with first degree attempted robbery.
Investigators say early Monday morning, Morse and the other suspect attempted to rob the officer while he sat in his patrol car.
The officer took Morse into custody and the other suspect took off.
A Monroe County sheriff's police dog was used to search the area near Dewey Ave and Stone Road, but could not locate the suspect.
