ROCHESTER, N.Y. — There's going to be a new home for Monroe County's COVID-19 vaccination clinic.

The clinic at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center will be relocating to the Monroe Community College Downtown Campus on State Street.

The convention center clinic closed on Saturday to the public. It will reopen at its new location July 7.

“As we continue to recover from the pandemic, it’s time to let the Rochester Riverside Convention Center to get back to its important work of being a premier venue for special events, trade shows, meetings, conventions and weddings,” Monroe County Executive Adam Bello said in a statement. “I am grateful to all the Convention Center staff for their assistance with our successful vaccination efforts and encourage anyone who has not yet been vaccinated to visit our new downtown clinic at Monroe Community College or one of the many other pop-up clinics we are offering throughout the county.”

Residents can get vaccinated from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are being offered for those 12 years and older.

Appointments can be made online.
