New tee times have been set after the PGA Championship at Oak Hill was initially delayed on Thursday due to frost.

An update from PGA officials stated that practice facilities were open as of 7:35 a.m., and the practice putting green opened at 7:45 a.m. Thursday. The first tee time at the No. 1 tee was set for 8:50 a.m. and the first tee time at the 10th tee was set for 8:55 a.m.

Round one start times were delayed by a total of 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Temperatures dipped into the low 30s overnight, and the National Weather Service issued a freeze warning from Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

The PGA issued a statement Thursday saying all practice facilities and the courses were kept closed to protect playing surfaces.

Everyone was advised to stay off the grass, and gates did not open until the frost cleared.
