LACKAWANNA, N.Y. -- The sound of winter was echoing in the Southtowns Monday morning where Old Man Winter blasted the area with even more snow.
"When this happens, it won't be the first time and it won't be the last, everybody just comes out and helps out each other," Joseph Kilton of Lackawanna said.
On Jackson Street in Lackawanna, it was brother helping brother.
"I'm looking a little lazy right now, my brother is doing all of the work," Kilton smiled.
And neighbor helping neighbor.
"I usually do that one,” Joe Kalenda pointed. “One, two, three, four five," he counted.
Kalenda is the neighborhood human snow blower. He’s helping out for about three decades.
"What else can you do, right," Kalenda asked.
