BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The alleged getaway driver in last year's deadly Anchor Bar shooting is heading to prison for charges in a separate case.

Gregory Ramos, of Niagara Falls, was sentenced to four years in prison in state supreme court Wednesday.

Back in March, he pleaded guilty to strangulation after dragging the mother of his children into the middle of Fargo Avenue in Buffalo and choking her until she went unconscious.

Ramos still faces a murder charge in the Anchor Bar shooting case.

Police say he was the getaway driver for Jorge Suarez—the man accused of shooting someone to death inside the restaurant back in October.
