The Dioceses of Buffalo has placed another priest on administrative leave.

According to the Diocesan website, Bishope Richard Malone placed Father Ronald Mierzwa on leave following abuse allegations.

Mierzwa is the the pastor at Holy Name of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Ellicotville.

According to the Diocese, the administrative leave is for the purpose of investigation and does not confirm or deny validity to the complaint.

This comes as the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo has addressed numerous claims of abuse from priests over the past several decades. Many Catholics are calling on Bishop Malone to resign, including the Station of the Cross radio station, but Malone says he's not stepping down.
