The NHL team executive charged with harassing a hotel shuttle driver in Buffalo during the league’s scouting combine last week was back in court Monday.

Randy Lee, assistant general manager for the Ottawa Senators, is facing a second-degree harassment charge after an incident Wednesday night. Lee was in town for the NHL Scouting Combine at HarborCenter.

Prosecutors say Lee took a shuttle from (716) Food & Sport to the Westin Hotel where he was staying. During the drive, he is accused of repeatedly touching the shoulders of the 19-year-old man driving the shuttle and making a lewd comment about his own private parts before leaving the van at the hotel. The driver then told security at the hotel about the incident, prompting an investigation by Buffalo Police.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges on Friday.

Lee had his passport returned to him during the brief court appearance Monday, allowing him to return home to Canada. He’s due in court again on Friday, June 22.

If convicted, Lee could face a fine or up to 15 days in jail.
