LOCKPORT, N.Y. — Police have recovered the body of a missing Lockport woman from the Erie Canal.

Officers say they found Casey Stover just northeast of Upson Park Friday. She had been missing since Tuesday.

With help from the state police underwater recovery team, authorities searched for several hours before locating Stover's body.

Lockport police are waiting on the Erie County Medical Examiner's Office to conduct an autopsy to determine her cause of death.
