Investigators are looking into what sparked a vacant house fire on Buffalo's west side.
Firefighters were called to a house in the 300 block of Breckenridge Street around 6 a.m. Wednesday. They say the fire started in the attic and moved down to the first floor.
The division chief says his team operated under its winter weather protocol because of this late cold snap.
Though the fire did significant damage the chief says the house is not a complete loss.
