CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. -- Cheektowaga police say a male pedestrian is dead after a hit-and-run near the Buffalo Niagara International Airport Tuesday morning.
Police say the victim, 55-year-old Robert Prigl of Depew, was hit just before 5 a.m. while trying to cross Genesee Street. The driver fled the scene.
As of now, it's unclear where the man was when he was hit, what way the driver was headed and who was behind the wheel.
Police are asking local businesses for surveillance video of the incident.
