NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. -- The City of Niagara Falls has $360,000 in state funds set aside for parks projects, such as cleaning up the playground at Liberty Park on 19th Street, but instead of city officials deciding which projects get funded, residents will vote to decide where the money goes.

There are 14 opportunities to vote on 10 potential projects at different community events during the month of August.

The city will complete each project in order of most votes until the entire chunk of money is spent.
