SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: A newly minted flag football team is teaching its players about the game of life while on the gridiron. The Youth Advantage NFL Flag Football team was created in partnership with local sports non-profit ‘Youth Advantage’ and the Buffalo Bills. Last year, the league started with just 10 kids, and this year they're up to 40 and counting. League officials say one of the first lessons these young players learn is gratitude, and it's reinforced each time they step on Pierce Field, in South Buffalo's Mulroy Park. The turf they're playing on is the result of a $1.1 million investment from the Bills, the city and several other private investors. The team's six-week spring season will continue next Saturday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
