LANCASTER, N.Y. -- People in Lancaster have joined local leaders in expressing concern about Como Lake.
The body of water has gone through years of neglect that are now magnified by this summer's drought. It's easy to find trash in the water. Erie County Legislator Ted Morton says dredging the lake should have been included in this year's county budget.
Morton says, "constituents and the neighbors who live around the lake deserve far better."
