NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. -- Niagara Falls Councilman Robert Anderson passed away Wednesday following a battle with cancer.
In addition to serving on City Council, Anderson was a veteran of the Air Force.
In a release Thursday, Mayor Paul Dyster described Anderson as "a tireless public servant."
Dyster has ordered all city flags to be lowered to half-staff to honor Anderson's life.
