CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The ACC men’s basketball tournament will return to North Carolina next year and stay in the state for the next five years, the ACC announced Thursday.

The men’s tournament will be held in the Spectrum Center in Charlotte in 2025, 2026 and 2028 and in the Greensboro Coliseum in 2027 and 2029, according to a league press release. This year, the tournament will be held in Washington, D.C. from March 12-16.

“We are incredibly proud to announce this tremendous package of neutral site championships that will be held in the state of North Carolina, where the league was founded more than 70 years ago,”  ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips said.

The women’s basketball tournament will be held in Greensboro later this year and in 2025 and in Charlotte in 2027.

The conference’s baseball tournament will be held exclusively in the state for the next six years. Charlotte’s Truist Field will host the tournament this year, 2026 and 2028, while the Durham Bulls Athletic Park will host it in 2025, 2027 and 2029.

Cary’s WakeMed Soccer Park will host the men’s and women’s soccer tournaments until 2029.
