GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Woods of Terror is showing off their softer side by holding a special event for children with disabilities on October 16.

Kids got to come in before public hours and enjoy activities like trick-or-treating, cattle rides and costume contest.

"We wanted to make the distinction that Trunk-or-Treat is for the kids, Woods of Terror is not. We're not in the business of terrorizing kids. We want teenagers and adults to have a good time at Woods of Terror but we want to do Trunk-or-Treat to give back to the community and let people know there's a good place to bring your kids," said owner Eddie McLauren.

Despite the recent weather and damage to the woods, Woods of Terror posted a record weekend after Michael.
