Authorities say that deputies responded to assist Highway Patrol on a traffic stop near a BP gas station in Lexington. There, they say a teen passenger in the vehicle, identified as Ricardo Uriel Nava, became combative.

He was put in custody for exposing his genitals and urinating in a lunchbox in the vehicle -- which he threw out of the window, hitting the deputies. Nava is also said to have spit blood at deputy and resisted arrest.

He’s charged with two counts of felony malicious conduct by prisoner, two counts of resisting arrest, one count of disorderly conduct, one count littering, one count of possessing an open container and one count of indecent exposure.

Nava is being held at the Davidson County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
