BURKE COUNTY, N.C. -- One person is dead after a house fire in Burke County.
Smoke and flames were spotted coming from the the home on George Hildebran School Road in Connelly Springs. Firefighters found the body while putting out the fire.
No word yet on the person's identity or what caused the fire.
