NORTH CAROLINA -- N.C. House Speaker Tim Moore filed a bill on Thursday to require photo ID to vote in North Carolina.

North Carolina is one of 18 states where you do not need to present an ID to vote.

The bill will now go to each chamber where, if it receives 3/5 approval, it will be on the ballot in November.

If passed, North Carolinians will be required to present a photo ID before voting.
