CHARLOTTE -- CMPD’s Armed Robbery Unit is asking for public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in two north Charlotte business robberies.
- A suspect is being sought in two Sam's Mart robberies.
- No one was injured in the robberies.
- Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
One robbery was at the Sam’s Mart on 4601 Statesville Road at 10:05 p.m. on Monday and the other was at another Sam’s Mart at 4200 Glenwood Drive at 10:15 p.m.
Both had employees and customers inside at the time. At the Glenwood Drive location, one of the employees fired a gun at the suspect during the incident. It appears the suspect was not shot.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a dark hoodie, a dust/surgical-type mask and gloves.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (704) 334-1600.
