RALEIGH, N.C. — This weekend, the GalaxyCon in Raleigh will be filled with thousands of fantasy fans showing off their impressive cosplay creations.

GalaxyCon started Thursday, and Friday is just day two of a four-day, culture-filled convention.

The nearby area is buzzing with excitement as celebrities, voice actors, comic book creators and others gather for a special event, drawing in thousands of people.

Many event goers will celebrate comic books, pop culture, sci-fi, fantasy and anime, among other things, according to the event's website.

Though most ticket packages appeared to be sold out on the event's website, single-day tickets ranged from $60-$65 for Sunday, with verified resale tickets available for purchase on Saturday.

Doors open at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, and photo opportunities are still available with television and film notables such as John Bernthal, Matthew Lillard, William Shatner and others, for a cost.
