Behind the cold front expect a northerly wind to bring relief from the high heat and humidity from the weekend.  Look for mostly cloudy skies with just a 20% chance for a shower.   Highs will only reach the low and mid 80s.

The cooler than normal weather will continue Tuesday as a large trough of low pressure in the upper levels of the atmosphere dominates the middle of the country.  Expect mostly cloudy skies Tuesday with only a 20% chance for a shower.  Highs will be in the mid 80s.

As this trough slowly retreats northward, expect temperatures to climb slowly through the rest of the week.  Highs will return to the 90s by Wednesday. It's looking quiet for the rest of the week into the upcoming weekend.
