ARLINGTON, Texas — The Arlington Police Department is increasing the reward for information about the fatal hit-and-run of officer Darrin McMichael.

The department is raising the reward to $20,000.

According to police, on Thursday, Sept 21., McMichael was on his way to work when he fell off his motorcycle after bumping into another vehicle in traffic. Another driver ran him over and didn’t stop. According to investigators, they’re looking for a dark sedan. 

Investigators would like any business along I-20 between Highway 175 and I-45 to check video or dash cam footage around 6 a.m. that day.
