DALLAS — Spectrum has partnered with AXS TV to support young musicians by identifying and gifting music education groups with $10,000 grants to help with their efforts. One of the first recipients of the grant is Dade Middle School in Dallas, and they will be using the money to purchase brand new uniforms for the school band so the kids can match. 

The initiative is called "Band Together for Music Education," and, all told, will give $50,000 worth of grants to entities across the country in the communities that Spectrum serves. 

The check was presented to the Dr. Billy E. Dade Middle School group on Thursday.
